Symposia "Let's discuss about Argillite"

In fall 2014 BiotaTec organized a symposium at the Academy of Sciences, the whole-day event that was actively participated by representatives of authorities, scientific community and business sector. For the first time in almost 30 years long period the focus was on possibilities to start again investigating Estonian Dictyonema Argillite. Distinguished researchers like Ello Maremäe and Rein Palvadre presented results obtained from reserach perfomed during the Soviet-area. Members of the Estonian Academia of Science Professor Mihkel Veiderma  and Professor Anto Raukas  shared insights and memories of secretive “non-authorized” Soviet-time studies and plans related to dictyonema argillite.
