The goal of given exciting R&D project is to determine the optimum conditions of biotreatment with BiotaTec’s microbial consortia in order to lower the content of Sulphur and metals like V, As, etc both in Oil Shale and in Semicoke. The project is implemented together with Oil Shale Competence Centre, AS Viru Keemia Grupp and AS Eesti Energia.
The project is being carried out with financial support from the European Regional Development Fund.
