Upscaling with Phosphogypsum originating from Kola Peninsula’s Apatite

Our BioMining Centre has received an early Xmas gift, actually two!

We have received samples from two different types of phosphogypsum (PG), waste that has been generated from processing the Apatite from the Igneous Complex deposit in Kola Peninsula in the 80’ies.

Our re-mining solution has proven to be rapid and efficient for extracting valuable REEs from PG with sedimentary apatite origin, now we have a wonderful chance to upscale our approach with phosphogypsum with igneous origin.  Fingers crossed, as there are millions of tons of valuable REEs worldwide trapped in this type of PG.
